CV Youth

Here at Carrickfergus Vineyard we are passionate about our youth growing in their faith and fellowship with each other. We want to partner with you and your family to help teach your son or daughter the word of God in relevant and life-giving ways.

Sunday Mornings

COGs is a space for young people between the age ranges of P7 - Year 10. We meet every Sunday morning just after a time of collective worship. We are called COGs because one of our dreams is that each of the young people that attend would know their identity as Children of God. As well as this, we believe, each person - young and old have a part to play in God’s Kingdom. Because of this, we seek to be a place where young people not only learn about the way of Jesus but also go deeper into following Him themselves. COG’s meetings usually involve a time of teaching, playing games, praying for each other and a time to respond to the call that is on our lives. A call to be passionate followers of Jesus and know the love that He has for us.

Sunday Evenings

We gather every Sunday night from 6:30–8:30pm in our town centre venue, 29 Lancasterian Street, creating space to build friendships, have fun, worship together, and explore faith in a way that is honest, relevant, and centred on Scripture. Our evenings typically include games, food, conversation, worship, and Bible-based teaching. We believe faith is not just something to talk about, but something to experience — and we aim to create environments where young people can encounter God for themselves.

Other Events

Alongside our weekly gatherings, we host and attend key events throughout the year that help young people go deeper in faith and community. In October, we take part in IN HOUSE, a weekend shared with other churches in Carrickfergus. In February/March, we run our own CV Youth Weekend, giving young people dedicated time away to grow together. Over the summer, we are involved in NUA, a family festival where there is a youth tent, and in August, we travel to MOVE, a youth festival in Kildare that gathers young people from across Ireland.

CV Youth is only possible thanks to a committed Youth team, all of whom enjoy volunteering and spending time with our young people in order to share God's word and journey life together
